Peony bark is bitter, pungent and slightly cool in nature. It mainly belongs to the heart, liver and kidney meridians. As the peony bark is cold and cold, it is forbidden to be used by patients with obvious abdominal pain and diarrhea due to deficiency of spleen and stomach. In addition, peony bark has the function of promoting blood circulation, which should not be used by pregnant women.
