Motherwort is a plant of Leonurus genus in Labiatae. An annual or biennial herb with a taproot on which fibrous roots grow densely. Stem erect, usually 30-120 cm tall, obtuse quadrangular, slightly grooved, with inverted strigose. The leaf contour changes greatly.
